British American Tobaccoin North Macedonia has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Executive in Skopje
The main purpose for this position is to prepare and submit Financial Statements based on local law requirements and based on IFRS within deadlines. Accurate tax treatment of revenues, expenses and group recharges as per applicable laws. Follow up on tax legislative updates and requirements and how it can impact our business
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead and supervise finance team, establish and implement department goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures
- Prepare and submit Financial Statements based on local law requirements and based on IFRS within deadlines
- Handle tax and custom audits/controls as well as ad hoc requirements from these institutions
- Follow up on tax legislative updates and requirements and how it can impact our business
- Liaise with auditors and lead external audit process
- Coordinate monthly closing process and responsible for reconciliation of general ledger accounts, accruals, provisions. Assure that postings are being processed according to group instructions
- To project the Cash Flow and ensure forecast accuracy
- Align with company policies and internal controls
- Handle monthly KPI’s in close collaboration with finance shared services with the aim to deliver excellent results. Propose and handle action plans to reach the assigned targets
- Liaise with key partners from other departments
- Participate in different projects or other ad hoc request that might be initiated by the company
What are we looking for?
- Finance graduate degree
- Accounting and financial qualification (Certified Accountant, ACA, CIMA, etc) would be a plus
- 3+ years experience (preferable in international companies)
- Strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of international accounting standards – IFRS
- Knowledge on SAP system (will be considered as an advantage)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- High level PC skills
