British American Tobacco Bulgaria has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Admin in Sofia with a 12-16 month contract

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining personnel files in accordance with internal procedures and the requirements of the Bulgarian Legislation:
  • Labor contracts, job requirements, labour documents, certificates and others;
  • Documents for leaves, requests, hospital papers, overtime, etc.;
  • Any other documents required by the procedures or the law.
  • Maintaining up-to-date the information in the internal system and working with our own Shared Services Center;
  • Collecting and validating the information related to payroll processing and relaying it to payroll providers;
  • Providing administrative services to all employees related to issuing of notices, documents, etc. upon request;
  • Participating in the process of identifying current and future company resource needs;
  • Supporting activities related to international appointments/assignments;
  • Preparing statistics, reports related to administrative matters - absences, vacation use, overtime, personal information, etc.;
  • Keeping up to date with company procedures and labour laws;
  • Assisting with budgeting of benefits and salary costs;
  • Supervising benefits administration together with the BAT Shared Services center: vouchers, health insurance, etc.
  • Involved in the employer branding activities, along with internal e-learning platforms.

What are we looking for?

  • Higher education in Human Resources or Economics;
  • Ideally a minimum of 1 years’ experience in multinational company at the position of payroll administrator or similar;
  • Experience in the implementation of the Bulgarian labor legislation;
  • Knowledge and experience with HR policies and administrative procedures;
  • Ability to analyze information with attention to detail;
  • Basic financial knowledge (ex. budgeting) will be considered as an advantage;
  • Good communication skills;
  • Fluent Bulgarian and English language;
  • Very good computer skills – MS Office.
