British American Tobacco DBS Poland has an exciting opportunity for a Data Processing and Reporting Analyst in Warsaw
As a Data Processing and Reporting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the planning team in data-driven decision-making within the AME Region. Using your analytical skills, you will capture, analyse, and interpret data to deliver valuable insights that guide commercial decisions.
You will also be responsible for handling various data processing tasks and ensuring data quality and accuracy. You will also play a key role in regular maintenance and update of Performance Hub which is key data visualisation tool used by the Planning Team.
Additionally, the Data Processing and Reporting Analyst, will drive continuous improvement initiatives and support in coordinating data ingestion activities and enhancing dashboards to meet the requirements of the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Handle and analyze data across sources by conducting in-depth market performance analysis, maintaining regular reports and dashboards for stakeholders, collecting and processing offline data (BPC, SAP BI, APO), cleansing data for anomalies, and harmonizing key data points with defined KPIs.
- Ensure robust and timely Power BI dashboard management by refreshing datasets, reviewing and updating dashboards, adding new features and reports, and maintaining the marketing performance hub to keep it current and relevant.
- Streamline OTIF data consolidation and reporting automation by optimizing reporting infrastructure, collecting and archiving data from various sources, automating repetitive tasks (e.g., pre-built Excel reports), validating data accuracy, and updating SharePoint with new submissions.
- Handle BAU requests and develop new dashboards by responding to support tickets, gathering requirements for new reporting views, and building dashboards in Power BI aligned with business needs.
- Support ad hoc reporting and performance tracking by preparing volume actuals reports, engaging with markets to explain key deviations, tracking shipment/financial data across different categories, and supporting commercial updates.
- Ensure accurate tracking and compliance reporting by monitoring data, and assisting in the preparation, validation, and submission reports to meet regulatory standards.
What are we looking for?
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Data Science, Information Technology, Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience in developing solutions using BPC, SAP and PowerBI.
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of data structures, modelling, and architecture.
• Comfortable working with numbers and possessing a strong analytical sense.
• Commercial acumen and ability to understand rational and reasons behind changes
• Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset and resourcefulness.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
