Delivery Lead for Digital Services

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

Manage the end-to-end delivery of projects within the Connected Ecosystem team. This includes the management of design, build & test phases of projects related to new features, management of deployments in new end markets and/or delivery of innovative proof of concepts. Ensure a smooth collaboration between multiple partners and various internal BAT stakeholders, to integrate different consumer connected devices, technology systems and our IoT platform, to enable configurable options across different markets and to develop language versions and best in class features. Support product development commercialisation by providing superior processes, clear ways of working and on time & in full delivery of agreed scope. Manage team members and contractors, coordinate work, actively participate in global initiatives.

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organisation?

Ownership of further development of (new) features in the MyVuse App, new launches of end markets - either with existing or with new consumer devices and/or coordinate pilots and proof-of-concepts for new categories (e.g. tobacco heated products) and leverage upcoming innovation ideas into superior product delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of Connected Ecosystem projects, including new app features, proof of concepts, pilots, and new market launches across different categories or brands.
• Drive continuous improvement of design, development, and testing processes to ensure valuable digital services across markets and BAT systems.
• Optimize ways of working with different teams and processes, ensuring on-time & in-full delivery of agreed project scope.
• Align overall committed deliverables with strategic roadmaps and priorities, managing dependencies across workstreams, product innovation backlogs, and market rollout plans.
• Collaborate with global and local partners (R&D, legal, insights, marketing, programme management) to drive effective project delivery.
• Monitor progress, proactively identify risks, and take necessary actions to escalate or mitigate challenges for seamless project execution.
• Ensure business requirements are effectively captured, validated, and implemented, maintaining architectural integrity and compliance with IT policies and standards.
• Oversee project implementation, ensuring solutions align with initial requirements, scope, budget, and timelines while contributing to Agile practices and Scrum ceremonies.

What are we looking for?

• University degree and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of design and implementation processes, including CI/CD, testing, eCommerce, CRM, CMS, Azure Services, and IoT-connected products.
• Solid experience in complex project management within digital marketing, collaborating with multiple partners across different time zones.
• Significant business and technology experience in global product management and market rollouts.
• Proven track record of delivering successful projects and products with exceptional end-to-end customer experience.
• Understanding of configuration processes for a single global solution localized across multiple markets, features, and languages.
• Experience in regulated industries and/or FMCG, as well as working with exciting and modern technologies.
• Expertise in defining technical requirements and implementing agile ways of working across multiple tech tracks, streams, and partners.
