British American Tobacco Samoa has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate & Compliance Executive in Apia.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinate and manage ESG committee activities, ensuring sustainability updates are tracked and reported monthly, and support in delivering Samoa’s annual sustainability plans.
  • Act as the key point of contact for sustainability matters, including completion of the annual sustainability survey and liaising between end-market stakeholders and the Samoa Leadership team.
  • Oversee corporate administration, including management of the company vehicle fleet, office services, facilities, suppliers, and general office operations.
  • Manage procurement administration, maintaining trackers, and preparing monthly expense claims.
  • Maintain, update, and communicate internal policies, ensuring staff awareness and ease of access through regular policy briefings and updates.
  • Lead internal communications by keeping staff entitlements and benefits up to date, coordinating monthly company newsletters, and organizing monthly townhall sessions.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business operations and governance requirements.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and advisory support to leaders and line managers on records management, international assignments, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.

What are we looking for?

  • Any diploma/degree with experience of 3 years in a similar role in an FMCG or similar industry.
  • Basic experience or exposure to corporate administration, sustainability, governance, or related functions, with the capability and motivation to grow and be developed in the role.
  • Computer literacy with Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Proficiency in the use of SAP is an additional knowledge.
  • Equipped with effective communication and stakeholder management skills with a high degree of organizational skill, strong presentation skills and proficiency in English in written and verbal skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and a structured approach to managing documentation, policies, records, and reporting requirements
