The Planning Intern role is designed to provide exposure to strategic business planning. It offers the opportunity to learn how market dynamics influence company performance. You will gain hands-on experience working with data, insights, and cross-functional teams. This role is ideal for students eager to apply analytical skills in a real business environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Quantitative and qualitative analysis of macro environment, identification of threats and opportunities.
- Industry and competitor performance analysis and forecasting.
- Consumer behaviour & Market Insights analysis.
- Analysis of New Categories performance and their impact on total nicotine category.
- Cross category interaction and key driver and barriers.
- Monitoring of BAT performance across various Countries & Categories.
- Support team in monthly strategic planning cycle and above market reporting.
- Support on all required presentations for internal and external meetings.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field. A Master’s Degree in any of the these areas is a plus.
- English fluency.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; comfortable with data analysis. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of other analytical tools a plus).
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks. Ability to interpret macro-economic and industry trends.
- Strong communication and presentation skills. Positive and collaborative mindset with ability to work across functions and teams. Openness, flexibility and willingness to adapt to a changing environment.
