British American TobaccoRomania has an exciting opportunity for a Process Improvement Manager - Order to Cash in Bucharest
The Process Improvement Manager for Order to Cash Areas within the Business Optimisation Centre applies extensive process expertise. They create efficient process and system solutions. They support transformation initiatives between BAT and BPO 3rd party.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Business and Operational
- In collaboration with relevant IDT representatives, GBS teams and other relevant teams, facilitates the process (re)design and supports the implementation of related system changes / new tools.
- Ensure that the process aspects of any system template changes are well composed and successfully governed, while delivering the targeted business benefits.
- Drives effective project management of all relevant initiatives’ portfolio, supervising implementation, progress against the plan and ensure action plans are in place to mitigate identified risks.
- Navigate through the system to assess the system changes or process/controls issues implication on OTC Finance processes and roles compose, with data driven decision making.
2. Transformation
- Coordinates processes continuous improvement initiatives [local/global] and the efficient develop/re-design of the template for the allocated process area, but also cross-functionally/cross-sub-functionally, ensuring that they meet the business objectives [including standardization, automation, controls, and data harmonization aspects] and support the appropriate blend of automated and manual process solutions.
- Leveraging Process / Data Analytics, builds and articulates arguments that provide compelling mentorship on how proposed change will bring value to the business moving forward.
3. Relationship
- Drives productive decision-making conversations.
- Communicates effectively via all channels.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 3 years of confirmed experience in functional areas such as Order to Cash, Tax, or Data, within a multinational environment, with a strong focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Validated experience operating within matrix organizations, with exposure to cross-functional and international projects.
- Consistent track record to lead project assignments and deliver results, including the application of continuous improvement methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Shown understanding of IT systems and related technologies, hands-on experience is considered an advantage.
- Ability to develop, communicate, and implement clear and actionable plans.
- Strong ability to identify business opportunities combined with a focus on achieving goals.
- Approach committed to finding effective solutions with creative and analytical thinking.
- Effective organisational change capabilities, with the ability to support and drive transformation initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
