British American TobaccoRomania has an exciting opportunity for an Events & Festivals Manager in Bucharest.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for defining events footprint, developing and managing the implementation of events platform, actively working with Brand teams, agencies and external suppliers;
- Seek & develop new concepts for communication in Entertainment to ensure that BAT achieves and maintains competitive advantage and that new communication techniques reflect market trends;
- Drive effective implementation of Brand activities and platforms in Entertainment channel;
- Planning events calendar and develop activations according to the allocated budget, brand needs and Entertainment opportunities to achieve the Entertainment strategy and offer consumer experiences;
- Implement Entertainment Activation Platform as per agreed in the Operational Plan via Own Events/Festivals;
- Continuous up to date reporting on all relevant trends that influence the consumer and, hence, impacts on our business which allows adjustments to be made to marketing strategies to achieve the company plan;
- Participate in ongoing evaluation of End-Market Events activities in the monthly Cycle Planning Meeting;
- Identify issues and define necessary operational changes for Entertainment activities;
- Propose changes to activity toolkits as required to respond to implementation issues;
- BAT events evaluation and competition events reviews;
- Ensure relevant internal stakeholders are timely and fully informed on events channel opportunities;
- Share competitor insights gained from within the channel;
- Review and account for budget variances.
What are we looking for?
Experience Required
- Ideally more than 2 years in FMCG / Creative Agencies (BTL)
- Role in Horeca/Events department is positively considered
- Good understanding of Brand and Entertainment strategy development
