British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for a New Categories Ops Finance P&R Manager in Bucharest.
We are looking for a data-driven professional to enhance our management reporting and analytics capabilities, enabling smarter, faster decision-making across the business. This role is central to transforming how we track performance and strategy execution – through automation, advanced data visualization, and connected analytics solutions.
You’ll lead efforts to streamline reporting processes, improve data storytelling, and ensure insights are delivered in clear, actionable formats that drive value.
The role is a fixed term opportunity for 1 year.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead Reporting Transformation: Drive the shift toward automated, self-service reporting solutions that reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
- Unlock Business Insights: Use data and analytics to uncover growth opportunities, support strategic decisions, and monitor business performance.
- Continuously Improve Reporting Tools: Regularly review and refine existing reports and dashboards to enhance clarity, relevance, and impact.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders to develop tools and models that address strategic business needs and deliver measurable impact.
- Standardize and Scale Solutions: Promote the adoption of global analytics standards while tailoring solutions to local requirements to ensure they meet local business requirements.
- Enhance Data Visualization and Storytelling: Present insights through compelling visuals using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to engage and support diverse stakeholder needs.
- Ensure Data Quality and Security: Establish efficient, secure procedures for data handling, analysis, and system monitoring to maintain integrity and compliance.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fields.
- ACCA/CIMA/qualified accountant would be an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of similar experience within Finance and/or Ops Finance in a dynamic operating environment.
- Functional expertise in the area of General Finance, Accounting, Reporting.
- Strong Business Acumen and relevant working experience in multinational matrix organizations, managing complex above-market financial reporting and planning.
- Strategic and solution-oriented thinker with strong analytical skills; able to synthesize complex data, develop, communicate, and deliver on strategy and plans.
- Effective communicator and collaborator with experience working across functions and teams to support decision-making and drive business outcomes.
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, good knowledge of SAP and Power BI.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
