British American Tobacco Brazil has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager of Analytical Services in Cachoerinha
The role is responsible for leading and optimizing analytical laboratory operations, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and innovation while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This role bridges science, business, and compliance to support the company’s strategic objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for three tobacco analysis laboratories.
- Ensure compliance with government regulatory requirements.
- Guarantee that all laboratory operations follow government mandated standards.
- Lead laboratory operations, focusing on operational excellence and process optimization.
- Oversee science, business, and compliance aspects, fostering a strong safety culture, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or related field.
- Professional council registration: CRQ or CREA.
- Strong understanding of laboratory operations.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in laboratory or FMCG/regulated industries.
- Familiarity of Lean Manufacturing / IWS principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong knowledge in Science and Quality.
- Familiarity with Regulatory standards (ANVISA, ISO 17025), quality systems, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking and people management, with ability to coach, engage, and develop teams.
- Excellent organisational and coordination skills to manage multiple workflows effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with focus on optimising costs, resources, and timelines.
- Clear and effective communication, capable of influencing and aligning internal stakeholders.
- Scientific, efficiency and customer-centric approaches, ensuring responsiveness and service excellence.
