British American Tobaccohas an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst in Qatar.
Assist Head of Finance in achieving corporate and commercial finance objectives by maintaining accurate financial records, managing cross-functional transactions including accounts receivable and payable, and assisting with audits and fixed asset management in compliance with governance and internal controls.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Support the Head of Finance in delivering corporate and commercial finance activities.
- Maintain accurate monthly financial records, including fixed assets and adherence to governance and internal controls.
- Manage cross-functional finance transactions, ensuring effective collaboration with internal teams, including the Gulf Finance team.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Payable and support external audit processes.
- Drive process improvements, enhance ways of working, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
What are we looking for?
- 1–3 years of professional experience in finance-related roles.
- Knowledge of financial reporting systems (i.e. SAP & BPC reporting).
- Knowledge in financial analysis, financial accounting, familiarity with financial tools/systems, corporate finance, audit, compliance, treasury, and team player.
- Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related business field.
- Degree education with related professional qualification i.e. ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ACT is a plus but not mandatory.
