Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities (R&R)
- Export Logistics & KPI Management: Schedule export logistics and manage vessel bookings for Global End Markets (JP, TW, HK, CN, SA, KW, KH) to ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) and maximize customer satisfaction and optimize transportation cost.
- 3PL & Partner Management: Partner closely with Regional Logistics, DHL, and outsourced warehouse operators to design, develop, and execute integrated, cost-effective transport solutions.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a pivotal point of contact to resolve finished goods and quality issues, collaborating closely with internal factory departments (Production, QA, SMD, and NPI) to minimize lead time and unnecessary costs.
- Inventory & Warehouse Control: Reconcile finished goods production volumes with SMD, monitor and enforce FIFO policies in the FG warehouse, and optimize maximum warehouse capacity to reduce overhead costs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics (or 2–3 years in a manufacturing industry with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes).
- Strong understanding of import/export customs procedures, logistics networks, and computer-based Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Intermediate English proficiency for smooth communication with overseas suppliers and regional hubs.
- Proven ability in cross-departmental communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and a proactive approach to delivering quality distribution services.
Preferences
- Prior experience in the FMCG industry with exposure to production, vessel booking, and customs environments.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards.
