British American TobaccoCosta Rica has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Specialist (English & French) in Heredia
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will lead full-cycle recruitment activities across the Americas, ensuring an engaging and efficient hiring experience for candidates and stakeholders. This role partners closely with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to understand workforce needs and deliver tailored recruitment strategies. Operating in a dynamic, multi-country environment, the Specialist actively sources diverse talent, manages robust candidate pipelines, and upholds consistent employer branding and compliance standards. The position also leverages data and reporting to provide insights on hiring progress, while continuously enhancing recruitment processes and stakeholder relationships. Proficiency in English and French is essential to support regional collaboration and communication.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from intake to offer stage, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Partner with Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners across the Americas to understand hiring needs and provide recruitment strategies.
- Support a multi-country recruitment environment, coordinating with stakeholders and candidates remotely and in person when required.
- Proactively source and engage active and passive talent, building strong candidate pipelines.
- Ensure all job postings and recruitment activities follow standardized processes and employer branding guidelines.
- Maintain compliance with BAT recruitment policies, documentation standards, and data privacy requirements.
- Provide regular reporting and insights on hiring progress, pipelines, and recruitment metrics.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
What are we looking for?
- 2+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- English and French proficiency (85%+).
- Experience recruiting for regional or multi-country roles within the Americas is preferred.
- Experience using ATS or HR systems (preferably SuccessFactors).
- Strong analytical, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) with a strong customer-service mindset.
