British American Tobacco Jamaica has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Intern in Kingston
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitor regulatory developments and support research, analysis, and preparation of policy and advocacy materials.
- Assist with company secretarial duties and coordinate data protection compliance and training activities.
- Support analysis of fiscal and regulatory changes and contribute data for economic and industry impact assessments.
- Develop communications materials, support stakeholder engagement, and manage stakeholder information and event logistics.
- Coordinate projects and cross-functional initiatives while tracking timelines, deliverables, and reporting progress.
- Monitor external developments to identify, track, and escalate regulatory, reputational, and operational risks.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s Degree, or soon to finish a degree, in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Law, Economics, Business Administration, Communication or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong research and analytical ability.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
