British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Delivery Manager-Wellbeing and Stimulation (TWSC) in London/Southampton
The Operations Delivery Manager is a critical enabling role within the TWSC Wellbeing & Stimulation business, supporting Procurement, Quality, and New Product Introduction (NPI) activities to ensure plans are delivered effectively, compliantly, and on time.
This role is suited to an experienced operations professional who can operate with a high degree of autonomy, structure ambiguity, and drive delivery across multiple workstreams. The role holder independently handles workload, builds and maintains delivery plans, coordinates cross‑functional partners, and ensures agreed operational and governance processes are followed within defined decision‑making frameworks.
The focus of the role is on structured execution: translating plans into delivery, tracking progress, following up actions, and ensuring governance requirements are met—without creating conflicts of interest across Quality, Procurement, and Operations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Quality System Support (Administration, Coordination & Oversight)
- Provide comprehensive QMS administration and documentation control, ensuring all Quality records, training materials, and controlled documents are current, accessible, and managed in alignment with defined processes.
- Coordinate and supervise key Quality processes and actions, including training programme management, CAPAs, deviations, change controls, batch release readiness, complaint data collation, and audit evidence preparation—driving timely closure, review, and escalation as required.
- Maintain Quality logs, trackers, metrics, and reporting, enabling effective oversight, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement across Quality operations.
Procurement & Supplier Governance Support
- Support execution of low- to medium-complexity procurement activities, including preparing RFQs/RFPs, collecting supplier responses, and performing comparative analyses.
- Conduct cost benchmarking and maintain supplier cost, contract, performance, and risk-related data to enable informed commercial decision-making and ensure adherence to onboarding and governance processes.
- Coordinate effectively between Procurement, Quality, and suppliers to supervise supplier performance, facilitate reviews, drive timely issue resolution, and follow up on required actions.
NPI / Project Delivery Support
- Develop, maintain, and actively manage integrated project plans in alignment with the TWSC PLM process, coordinating internal and external partners to deliver agreed breakthroughs, tracking progress, risks, issues, and dependencies with proactive escalation, and ensuring effective meeting facilitation, documentation, and completion of all required governance steps at each PLM stage
Cross‑Functional Operations Support
- Provide operational support to other TWSC Operations teams as require; act as a central coordination point across Procurement, Quality, Operations, and external partners, as well as support continuous improvement of ways of working, templates, trackers, and reporting
What are we looking for?
- Experience in operations, programme, or delivery support role at a comparable level of responsibility
- Demonstrated project management and cross functional coordination experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in parallel
- Experience working with internal and external partners in a regulated or structured environment
- Proven track record to work independently, handling time and priorities with minimal direction
- Strong delivery focus, with the ability to translate plans into structured execution and follow through
- Ability to operate effectively across multiple functions and senior partners without formal authority
- High attention to detail while maintaining a broader operational and delivery perspective, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
Beneficial
- Exposure to NPI / PLM processes
- Experience supporting Quality Management Systems or regulated environments
- Experience working with external suppliers on cost, performance, and compliance topics
- Familiarity with FMCG, food, dietary supplements, or similar regulated industries
