British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for an Area Supply Chain Digitalisation Manager in Malang, Indonesia.
The Area Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for leading digital transformation, ways-of-working (WoW) simplification, and continuous improvement projects across the Area SC. This role enables data-driven decision-making, supply chain maturity progression, and alignment with company strategy through structured project governance and deployment of digital tools and CI methodologies.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the deployment of the “Ultimate Control Tower” (UCT) concept and IWS phase progression by mapping current state processes against maturity curves, identifying gaps, and building a development roadmap.
- Drive the Area SC digitalization agenda through tools such as Kinaxis, Power BI, DFA, and reporting systems to enable near real-time data access, faster decision-making, and root cause analysis.
- Lead SN Pillar maturity progression across EMs, ensuring alignment with company, EM, and functional strategies and addressing top losses.
- Manage supply network design (SND) optimization and simplification projects at the Area level to enhance efficiency and agility.
- Develop and communicate a strategic vision for digitalization, SND, and SN Pillar maturity aligned with broader company objectives.
- Conduct benchmarking reviews against internal and external best practices to identify improvement opportunities and drive innovation.
- Govern CI projects and loss mapping initiatives, ensuring structured execution and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed CI methodologies and digital capabilities into BAU operations, supporting SC maturity progression.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, or transformation roles with proven success in digital and CI deployments.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP, with hands-on experience in DFA, Power BI, Kinaxis, dashboards, and CI governance frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and cross-location projects with structured governance and impactful delivery.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change across diverse teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to engage effectively with internal and external contacts.
- Solid understanding of CI methodologies, SN Pillar maturity tools, and performance analytics to support strategic decision-making.
- Deep knowledge of SC operations and digital systems, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and capability building.
