British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for a Transport Manager (Domestic & EXIM)in Malang, Indonesia.
- Ensure company transaction align with customs & excise regulation
- Manage transportation for both domestic and exim to support end to end process in supply chain going smoothly including supplier performance management with procurement., manage regulation as per compliance together with Legal and CORA
Your key responsibilities will include:
Business:
- Be accountable for the daily, tactical and strategic operation of the Transport Network, managing the Transport Control Towers and driving our Logistics Transport Partners to deliver against our service effectiveness and efficiency requirements on behalf of the local End Markets, Region and Global SNO disciplines
- Support local Supply Chain Managers in delivering a high degree of synchronicity and alignment between the local facilities and the above market Transport Road Operations within the region.
- Managing Customs and Transportation Management
- Managing and monitoring company transaction align with customs regulation
- Responsible to ensure transportation readiness to support domestic & exim shipment
- Responsible on agreement management with supplier
- Lead improvement process (UPS, WPI etc) to support shipment process
- Collaborate with procurement to review supplier performances (OTIF)
- Managing and ensuring the process and management of transportation are comply with regulations and BAT EHS policies
- Ensure transport management implemented in efficient way to optimize the cost
- Managing compliance of customs and excise requirement including customs facility
- Achieve zero C2S miss due to material availability
- Support to achieve optimum FG inventory duration
- Continuous improvement on operational planning & supplier performances
People:
- Achieves full compliance for self, direct and indirect reports
- Coaches' direct reports
- Engage with internal & external stakeholder related with customs and transportation planning
- Provide feedback to supplier on their performances through performance review
What are we looking for?
- Degree in any major
- Expert understanding of Indonesia Customs & Excise regulation
- Require to have good communication skill
- Expertise for transportation
- SAP ECC system knowledge
- General understanding in IWS and expertise in Supply Chain
- Min of 5 years experience as EXIM Manager and Transport Management
- Have additional experience for engagement process and coordination with government stakeholder
- Deep knowledge in customs regulation especially related with customs facility
- Having logistics experience is preferable
