British American Tobacco Indonesia has an exciting opportunity for a Product Development in Malang, Indonesia
This role supports the development and deployment of products, ensuring they meet quality, regulatory, and business requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality, to support product implementation and continuous improvement. The role also involves maintaining accurate product information and supporting project delivery in line with business objectives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist with assigned development and deployment activities (innovation, continuous improvement, regulatory, etc.).
- Promote and integrate ways of working within the Heated Product Centre of CoE team.
- Deliver assigned portfolio of projects within the product deployment plan, coordinating internal and external partners aligned with the Senior Product Development Manager.
- Assist with implementation of new and modified products at factory level through specifications in SAP.
- Ensure quality and consistency of product specifications by tracking monthly analytical results and proposing corrective actions with guidance from Senior Expert.
- Act as key contact point for manufacturing to support trials, product implementations, and performance monitoring in collaboration with the Quality team.
- Assist with product specifications, recipes approval in TaO system, and ensure Development Data Sheets are uploaded in compliance systems.
- Maintain product specifications, ensure accurate system updates, and track budget spend for development activities within assigned responsibilities.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- Good information technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to interpret analytical data, draw conclusions, and propose action plans.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy of product specification data.
- Technical knowledge and applied science background to support development projects.
- Relevant experience in product development and formulation, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with good time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work across teams and cultures.
