British American TobaccoIndonesia has an exciting opportunity for an SME – Electrician in Malang
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with BAT EHS requirements, electrical standards, LOTO procedures, and safe working practices.
- Identify and eliminate electrical-related risks through hazard reporting and corrective actions.
- Complete preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and operational performance.
- Troubleshoot Electrical and issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Analyze recurring equipment failures and chronic losses to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
- Support the development and implementation of maintenance plans, standards, and troubleshooting procedures.
What we are looking for:
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrician, Shift Electrician, or a similar maintenance role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, automation systems, VFDs, and industrial communication networks.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Proven experience troubleshooting complex electrical and automation failures independently.
- Good understanding of reliability improvement methodologies, root cause analysis (RCA), and preventive maintenance practices.
- Experience with IWS methodologies, maintenance excellence programs, or manufacturing improvement initiatives is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and able to document maintenance activities, standards, and technical reports effectively.
