Pakistan Tobacco Company has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader - Production in Pakistan
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Schedule and control shift operations effectively to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Ensure the manufacturing of high-quality products by meeting/exceeding Q2 targets, improving processes to reduce/eliminate market complaints, and protecting product integrity.
- Manage and aid in all maintenance efforts to keep machines functioning efficiently and decrease periods of inactivity.
- Drive breakthrough results in Process Reliability, Planned and Unplanned Downtime while delivering against the Master Production Schedule.
- Mentor and develop EOs and encourage multiskilling in shift.
- Maintain positive connections with CBA representatives to ensure smooth operations on the floor.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with Company EH&S policies on the shop floor to provide a safe and healthy work environment.
- Encourage shop floor employees to come up with new and different ideas for work to ensure continuous improvement processes.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and sciences
- 0-3 years of experience preferably in a FMCG industry
- Proven initiative, drive, and leadership abilities to lead a team with decision-making and resource management skills
- Effective interpersonal and influencing skills
- Outstanding leadership and conflict management skills
- Working experience with SAP is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Quality systems, ISO 9001/14001, and SPC is desirable
- Ability to enforce rigor and set outstanding work practices within the team
