British American TobaccoPapua New Guinea has an exciting opportunity for a People Experience Specialist in Port Moresby
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide first-level HR support to employees on HR systems, administration, talent activities, remuneration, benefits, and payroll matters.
- Ensure organizational charts are accurate and updated on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate training sessions by liaising with manager, people experience partners & change management team, ensuring all logistics and materials are prepared on time and in full.
- Support payroll processes by ensuring all required documentation and fortnightly uploads are submitted accurately and on time.
- Manage documentation for visa and work permit applications to meet approval timelines.
- Support recruitment and onboarding activities in partnership with the talent acquisition team.
- Support and partner with relevant teams to manage all joiner, mover, and leaver processes while proactively addressing employee queries and HR-related matters.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources with a solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, advise, and build credible relationships across functions.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Analytical and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
