British American TobaccoTaiwan has an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance Manager in Taipei
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving business results by providing relevant commercial and financial insights
- Liaise with global business services teams around the world to ensure financial delivery in Taiwan and Hong Kong
- Drive financial priorities through engagement with Taiwan Cluster Leadership team, as well as providing insight on financial priorities to the wider organization
- Ensuring financial aspects involved in business decisions are accurately weighed in the decision-making process, and marketing aspects are weighed in financial decision-making process
- Ensure rigorous and proactive financial insights are provided to achieve optimal resource allocation based on strategic direction and market realities
- Ensure all resources are allocated according to key business priorities and resource availability
- Ensures innovative ways of working to be adopted such as inventing creative analysis frameworks, automating manual works, eliminating redundant/no-value-added works to increase company’s overall effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensures opportunities identified and fulfilled for the improvement of Marketing and Finance processes, information systems, and procedures in line with business development
What are we looking for?
- 6 - 8 years’ experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment
- Broad experience in large global organisation with in-depth knowledge in specific FMCG process areas
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, i.e. SAP/HFM/BI/BCP
- Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation and commercial acumen
- Strong influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesise, communicate, and present complex information
- Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultative
- A degree educated with professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)
