British American Tobacco is seeking a highly experienced and business-oriented Data & Analytics professional to join our Central Europe team. This role is focused on driving the end-to-end delivery of data and analytics solutions, ensuring strong alignment between business priorities, data platforms and execution.
You will play a critical role in leading delivery across multiple markets, managing a portfolio of initiatives and contributing to the development of a high-performing analytics team. Acting as a bridge between business partners and technical teams, you will ensure that solutions are delivered efficiently, reliably and in full compliance with global standards.
This is a highly visible role combining delivery leadership, stakeholder management and team coordination in a complex, international environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of data and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business priorities, timelines and quality expectations
- Acting as a main interface between business, data analysts and platform teams, translating requirements into structured delivery plans and actionable tasks
- Managing and developing a Data & Analytics delivery team, providing guidance, coaching and support to ensure consistent high performance
- Coordinating multiple parallel projects and streams, ensuring clear prioritization, risk management and transparent communication
- Driving business requirements gathering and validation, ensuring solutions are practical, scalable and aligned with real business needs
- Ensuring effective implementation and usage of data platforms, focusing on usability, reliability, cost efficiency, and improving data quality, availability and performance
- Working closely with global, regional and local participants, including vendors, to ensure smooth execution and alignment with the broader data ecosystem, while ensuring compliance with BAT data governance, security standards and local regulations
- Supporting continuous improvement of delivery processes, ways of working and guidelines across the team
What are we looking for?
- A senior data & analytics delivery professional with proven experience in managing analytics projects, delivery teams and working in complex, multi-market or international environments
- Strong track record in partner management and delivery ownership, with the ability to work confidently with both business and technical teams and build trust at different levels
- Solid hands-on understanding of modern data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric, Azure) and good knowledge of data warehousing, reporting and analytics ecosystems, contributing to solution design and delivery decisions
- Experience in leading or coordinating teams, including task prioritization, workload management and coaching
- Solid ability to structure business requirements and translate them into delivery plans and actionable tasks
- Good understanding of project delivery methodologies and practical application in analytics delivery
- A structured, pragmatic and ownership-driven attitude, with solid focus on execution and delivery outcomes
- Full professional proficiency in English
