British American Tobacco Polandhas an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Executive in Warsaw!
We are looking for a Supply Chain Executive to ensure product availability and drive supply chain efficiency at market level. The ideal candidate brings a curious approach, a drive for continuous improvement, and a passion for simplifying complexity. This role focuses on optimizing inventory, preventing stockouts, and supporting smooth product launches through strong collaboration and data-driven planning.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure continuous product availability by collaborating with Demand Planning and Production teams, aligning with commercial goals and customer needs.
- Handle inventory for new product introductions (NPIs) and product changes, coordinating smooth phase-in/phase-out transitions to avoid excess and obsolescence.
- Maintain product freshness across all storage and distribution points in partnership with local warehousing.
- Serve as a key Supply Chain stakeholder in cross functional commercial projects, contributing operational input and aligning supply plans with business initiatives.
- Analyse daily sales and inventory data to proactively address demand fluctuations, preventing stockouts and minimizing SLOBs.
- Optimize stock levels across locations by coordinating with Logistics and Warehousing, balancing service levels and inventory health.
- Investigate root causes of stockouts and SLOBs, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement to strengthen supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with Commercial teams to minimize write-offs of raw materials and finished goods through better planning, forecasting, and inventory control.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in supply chain planning (DRP, production, materials/semi/finished goods, supply network planning).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Polish and English.
- Proven curiosity, continuous improvement attitude, eagerness to challenge complexity, and drive efficiency.
- Exposure to advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis) or involvement in cross-functional commercial projects is a plus.
