British American TobaccoGreece has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Deployment Manager - Retail and Careline in Athens.
As a Marketing Deployment Manager for Retail and Careline for the cluster of Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Israel in British American Tobacco, you’ll be responsible for the retail activation strategy and consumer careline across the GMCI cluster, focusing primarily to NCs, while also supporting Combustibles ecosystem. Your purpose is to drive a team of four marketing professionals to deliver growth, innovation, consumer centric activation and be able to aspire them to succeed.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- You will be leading retail activation projects from idea to implementation, using consumer relevant insights, latest marketing capabilities and ensuring alignment with brands guidelines in the retail environment. Speed and on time in full delivery will be your biggest challenge in a turbulent FMCG environment.
- You will demonstrate full ownership of retail activation & offline channels and activities, namely Traditional retail space, Key Accounts, Own retail, and ensure a brand new execution in all Offline Touchpoints i.e. Point of Sale Materials, D2C activation materials, etc. Your aim is to build a solid commercial and activation plan to drive consumers from awareness to acquisition and conversion.
- Actively seek new ways of elevating our market retail execution, bringing new ideas & solutions, aligned with latest market & industry trends. Be able to align a more digital savvy approach into the traditional retail environment.
- Ensure a solid implementation plan of new launches across all nicotine categories in the cluster’s markets. You will be developing and driving marketing deployment plans to meet brand objectives and strategies while being fully autonomous on bringing solid proposals and ensuring top quality implementation.
- Regular market visits and understanding of competitive environment. A commercial oriented approach is a requirement have, while combining it with brand attributes and trade executions.
- Own and orchestrate the monthly Picture of Success process, i.e. internal Senior partners alignment on in-market retail execution, planograms definition and be able to coordinate and merge brand and trade commercial interests.
- Monitor the implementation and results of operational marketing plan and recommend corrective actions to brand activities, materials, practices.
- Own the promotions yearly planning, ensuring clear alignment between the involved functions, i.e. Marketing Deployment, Trade/Sales and Business Development.
- Lead Careline and Consumer Complaints processes in a seamless manner for the best consumer experience. Ensure cross-functional alignments with area and global Quality teams.
- Plan and budget campaigns and activities, timelines, channel allocation and execution. Be the owner of assigned brand expenditure ensuring optimal & efficient budget management as well as resource allocation. Track campaign/ project Marketing Investment & KPIs. Manage Creative Agency Scope of Work for the function.
What are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of Business, Marketing, Finance or similar
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Consumer Activation and/or Brand Marketing
- Good negotiator, manage efficiently resources and coordinate agencies on budget spends
- Strong influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills, Creative thinking & Strong analytical skills
- Comfort in dealing with complex matrix structures, as well as with external partners
- Able to connect offline with online and work in an omnichannel marketing model
- Story Telling: Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesize, communicate, and present information to different audiences
- Commercial approach to all activities
- Greek and English language fluency is a requirement
