British American Tobacco Vietnam has an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Officer in our Binh Chanh Factory, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Manages wrapping materials in internal and external warehouses, including receiving, storage, stock management, and consumption monitoring to support production needs. Makes sure all SAP transactions are accurately recorded and compliant with warehouse procedures, inventory standards and EHS requirements.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee warehouse operations in line with SAP and BAT guidelines, ensuring timely material receipt, accurate inventory control (FIFO/FEFO), safe working practices and sufficient material supply for production.
- Provide on-the-job training and manage contracted staff to improve performance and skills while ensuring strict compliance with EHS requirements.
- Maintain full inventory control and compliance by ensuring stock accuracy, system updates, correct storage, audit readiness, infestation control KPIs, OTIF performance and adherence to company policies and EHS standards.
- Coordinate supply planning, reporting and asset management by providing accurate material requirements, ensuring warehouse equipment readiness and safety and delivering timely reports and issue escalations to management.
- Build strong cross-functional, supplier and customer relationships while continuously optimizing warehouse resources to improve capacity utilization and workload efficiency.
What are we looking for?
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related fields
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in Warehouse / Logistics / Stock Control is preferred. Experience handling raw materials for manufacturing is an advantage
- Technical & Professional Skills: Good understanding of warehouse operations and material control processes. Experience with SAP & Coupa systems, Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Language: Intermediate to advanced English skills
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and data accuracy, excellent coordination and communication skills, a safety-first and compliance-driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
