Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support deployment and monitoring of agronomy trials at leaf field level.
• Support the implementation of the agronomy plan for CTC leaf.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives within the leaf function.
• Work closely with the Global Leaf Application Development team to develop and drive research priorities for Leaf.
• Identify productive areas by testing soils for potential expansion while ensuring no environmental harm.
• Ensure the farming community supplying CTC leaf adheres to sustainability standards and best practices for tobacco cultivation through FSMA monitoring.
• Actively support the Leaf EHS agenda by driving actions to close gaps and meet EHS targets.
• Ensure adherence to all BAT P&IT guidelines and standards.
• Support laboratory and regulatory requirements ensuring timely submissions and compliance with standards.
• Support crop volume planning and GLTP factory operations along with defining specs

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor of Agriculture, Science or equivalent qualification
• Sound Communication skills with the ability to collaborate and influence within CTC & beyond
• Analytical expertise, with high learning agility
• Change management skills with a keen eye for innovation.
