British American Tobacco Bangladesh has an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer- Western Region
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee and monitor the performance of security service providers, systems, and procedures in line with Security SOPs.
- Identify, assess, and report potential security breaches, criminal threats, and SoBC violations, advising on appropriate corrective actions.
- Ensure effective access control and compliance with security standards through proper system management and contractor oversight.
- Support investigations of security incidents and recommend preventive measures to mitigate future risks.
- Maintain and ensure proper functioning of all physical and technical security systems, including enforcing maintenance standards.
- Provide regular reports and insights to the Regional Security Manager on security performance, compliance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Support risk assessments, training initiatives, and internal compliance exercises (e.g., clear desk reviews) within the region.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 5+ years of security management experience across Police, Military, or private security sectors, with exposure to law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
- Proven ability to manage security service providers, contracts, and budgets, with strong operational oversight.
- Strong understanding of security risk assessment, threat analysis, and implementation of mitigation measures.
- Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and external partners.
- Capability to drive security compliance, develop procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including report writing and presentation of security risks.
