British American TobaccoMexico has an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Executivein Monterrey
Help BAT secure our ecosystem (specifically LATAM North and South within the Americas region). Work closely with regional IT team and business functions to help with vulnerability remediations, new technology project assessments, and cyber technology delivery. Work closely with manager and other regional cyber teams to ensure consistency across the organization. Work with other Information Security team members to make sure they deliver relevant and timely services to the markets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Work with appropriate Service Line Managers to facilitate vulnerability management remediations in a timely manner within region
- Work with project managers to assess new technology project assessments within region
- Facilitate recommended remediation for new technology implementations within region
- Translate business requirements to relevant Information Security offerings and organize delivery in region
- Risk assessments and advisory for projects within region
- Management of cyber risk of the environment within region
What are we looking for?
- Strong background in IT and cybersecurity, including risk assessment, incident response, architecture, and cloud environments such as Azure and AWS
- Effective communicator with the ability to present and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Experience managing information security programs, audits, vendor risks, and project-related cyber evaluations
- Proven project management capabilities, leading regional initiatives and delivering outcomes on time, within scope, and within budget
- Ability to perform under pressure, prioritize critical tasks, and make sound decisions in time-sensitive security situations
- Skilled in analysis, problem solving, and identifying risk patterns, while supporting security awareness and providing practical security guidance to staff
- Knowledge of networking, application security, cloud configuration management, and 3rd‑party vendor security practices
- Bachelor’s degree, 1–3 years of experience, fluent English, and experience contributing to budget and resource planning
