British American Tobacco Hungary has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Capability Development Manager in Pécs
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
Drive capability build across Quality function globally to build multi category quality capabilities across global and local quality teams, applying IWS Quality pillar as a key enabler. Lead the deployment of training plans and programmes across the Quality organization.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Drive capability build across the Quality organization to enable a future fit talent pipeline and drive global IWS Quality Pillar, building Lean capability across the quality organization focusing on Multi category environment.
- Develop and deploy skill matrix as per the Category led Quality organization design and drive the utilization of step-up cards to enable qualification of team members at all levels.
- Provide support to the Global Category Quality teams to identify must win trainings across the entire Quality organisation and support and manage Global Ownership of Qualification process in Quality organization.
- Deploy and track Global Quality Training Plan and plan & deliver key global quality training annual programs.
- Collaborate with other functions/sub functions to develop the training content reflecting the future business priorities.
- Drive and enhance communication management for quality function, using on existing channels to ensure information is adequately conveyed.
- Support Quality Pillar IWS phase assessor planning and preparation.
- Ensure alignment of capability building initiatives with Quality organizational needs and continuous improvement priorities.
What are we looking for?
- Degree or equivalent in Applied Science, Industrial, Food Technology or Engineering management related fields.
- Experience in working across multiple functions and projects with knowledge of training methodologies.
- Experience of working in an FMCG company in Operations/Quality.
- Experience in planning and delivering capability building plans is preferable
- Experience of contributing to continuous improvement practices with the ability to manage complex issues and work independently.
- Excellent communication, influencing, interpersonal and effective engagement skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- IWS/Lean Manufacturing experience within a quality/operations environment is an added advantage, with ability to work in a multi geographical environment.
- Good knowledge of Training and capability build tools.
- Ambiguity management and ability to manage complex issues and work independently.
