British American Tobacco Italia is looking for a talented and data-driven Key Account Analyst Intern with a strong interest in commercial analytics and retail performance to join the Key Account team based in Rome.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
•Collect and consolidate data using existing reporting systems and tools
• Analyze sales and distribution data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities
• Monitor product performance, sell-out trends, and stock fulfillment across key accounts
• Build and maintain structured datasets to support ongoing analysis and reporting
• Develop periodic performance dashboards and reports tailored to individual accounts
• Ensure proper execution of central trade agreements at the point of sale
• Provide analytical and operational support to the field force for in-store activities
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
• Current enrolment/degree in Marketing, Business Management or other related fields of study
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Italian
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts) and data visualization tools
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in both analysis and reporting
• Proactive nature and ability to learn fast
• Multitasking skills and flexible approach
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and field staff
