British American Tobacco Poland has an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Manager in Warsaw
As a Key Account Manager, you will drive growth with key customers in the convenience/kiosks/petrol station or proximity channel. You will shape and execute consumer/shopper‑focused strategies, lead annual negotiations, and ensure efficient assortment, distribution, and product visibility. Working closely with cross‑functional teams and field sales, you will coordinate national and local initiatives, analyze market and shopper trends, and support accurate forecasting to strengthen our commercial performance
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Driving and growing partnership with key customers within one of two channels: convenience or kiosks/fuel stations
- Building deep customer and channel understanding to support strategic decision making
- Developing and implementing customer strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives
- Delivering sales growth across your customer portfolio, anchored in the company’s strategic pillars
- Leading annual commercial negotiations at both local and international levels
- Ensuring optimal assortment, distribution, and product visibility in line with brand and category strategies
- Collaborating closely with Marketing, Consumer Excellence, Legal, Finance, and Logistics to deploy comprehensive solutions enhancing sales and market share
- Partnering with field sales and merchandising teams to coordinate local initiatives and implement central strategies
- Analyzing market trends and sellout data to identify shopper behaviors and growth opportunities at channel and customer level
- Monitoring product availability and evaluating sales forecast accuracy
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years of experience in handling key customers within the FMCG sector, including participation in at least two full negotiation cycles with top clients
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes
- Advanced analytical capabilities and strategic business thinking
- Creativity, independence, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach
- Ability to build long-term relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
- Comfortable working in an international, inclusive environment
- Advanced/native proficiency in Polish and a very good command of English (at least B2 level).
