British American TobaccoPoland has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Commercial Finance Executive in Warsaw
The Commercial Finance Executive will support the Regional Commercial Finance team with the various in-depth analysis of financial performance of the total Region/all product categories/DRBUs. Using commercial knowledge the person should produce analysis and insights as well as run scenario modelling to support Strategic discussions and Region-wide decisions. The role is expected to support regional reporting on Competitors, pricing and actively interact with Regional marketing and DRBU Finance. Position requires ability to multitask, set priorities and be able to work under time pressure as the person will be joining a fast-pace environment and a very dynamic team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conduct NTO and Profit and Loss line analysis with insights by product category
- Support monthly Pricing Tracker update, with Area bottom-up submissions, perform analysis by market/category and produce insights/foresights to be presented to the Regional Leadership team
- Lead technical part of the Competitor reporting: consolidate Regional view, liaise with Areas to ensure data quality, perform analysis by competitor/category, contribute to the process optimisation
- Provide inputs into Management decks for the AME Regional Leadership Team (SOP, Competitors, ad hoc analysis)
- Deliver part of the projects that include various in-depth analysis and scenario modelling by category/Area for different PL lines (Route to market, profitability, competitor insights etc)
- Ideate and engage relevant teams to develop technical solutions (eg. Power BI solutions on pricing, competitors etc)
- Strong teamwork & collaboration with DRBU Finance, Regional SPI & Marketing, and other GBS departments to ensure delivery of cross-functional projects as well as integrity and quality of analysis
What are we looking for?
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong team player with the ability to coordinate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Technical Expertise:
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Solid knowledge of BPC (including retrieves) and SAP.
Strong Power BI skills.
- Financial & Analytical Skills:
Experience in financial modeling using large databases, including BPC extracts.
Skilled in data analysis, identifying common trends, deviations, and translating insights into commercially viable initiatives.
- Adaptability & Drive: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment; proactive, determined, and capable of multitasking.
- Languages: Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Additional Advantage: Previous commercial experience is considered a strong benefit.
