British American Tobacco Greecehas an exciting opportunity for a Consumer Technology Analyst in Athens
We are looking for a Consumer Technology Analyst to join our team and to execute our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) strategy across Western Europe (WE). You will become a member of WE Area IDT team, where you will support the implementation of D2C digital technologies.
You will be a crucial link/bridge between eCommerce, CRM, Data & Analytics, and IDT helping to translate our team’s vision and strategy into capabilities and follow with multi-channel technology solutions’ implementations to deliver on business’ goals and values in a dynamic ecosystem of BAT’s Western European end markets. The IDT team will benefit from your experience to date and willingness to learn and share constantly acquired knowledge with the rest of the team and with our colleagues in the end markets.
Our approach to work with the end markets is a consumer-centric solution discovery and development where consulting skills, hence analytical mindset combined with openness, thinking outside the box, courage to question the status quo, good listening skills, and ability to translate IT and product language into the customer benefits are important advantages and must-haves in our ongoing co-operation with the colleagues from Western European markets.

You will primarily focus on the GMCI Cluster countries (Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Israel) and you will have the opportunity to participate in relevant projects within Western Europe Area in all our 22 End Markets (EMs), delivering a variety of digital solutions, strategies, best practices, and processes to our stakeholders and consumers.
You will also learn how to manage digital platforms and solutions in rigorous yet fun way, build effective stakeholders’ relationships, delivering globally scalable solutions, work cross- functionally with our data and analytics, procurement, finance, and eCommerce teams, and understand the business from its core perspective.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Support Consumer Technology Manager in discovering and delivering digital solutions, helping the end markets achieve their goals. Focus will be on support the Digitization Programme in Greece in 2025, upgrading their ECOM solutions, supporting a Target Operating Model review and rolling out a compliant CRM solution
- Support execution of D2C digital strategy across WE area
- Help to solve operational and strategic challenges, and suggest potential areas for process/technology improvement.
- Support automation adoption and/or implementation.
- Encourage open-minded thinking and proactively look for the solutions in D2C digital space to support value creation for BAT consumers.
- Stakeholder Management: support Consumer Technology Manager in ensuring strong collaboration with end markets as well as with area stakeholders. Work closely with all stakeholders across WE to collect and assess new demand/requirements. Establish the contribution that digital technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as eliciting and documenting requirements with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluation.
- Identify consumers’ needs through the active participation in design-thinking workshops, market analysis, surveys. Research and analyze market trends and competitors.
- Planning, organizing, and managing activities around projects.
- Regular review of agreed metrics and KPI’s, suggesting improvements and seizing opportunities.
- Pro-actively share knowledge and expertise, be the source of information and inspiration on latest trends.
- Be part of solution teams and constantly communicate progress, backlogs, risks, resolving issues and documenting process flow and ways of working.
What are we looking for?
- Degree educated, preferably in information systems management, business management, product management, or any IT management related field or relevant equivalent experience.
- Experience in managing/executing enhancements with suppliers on different eCommerce platforms.
- Digital solutions related experience acquired in the departments of IT, product and/ or marketing.
- Experience at managing/executing enhancements with suppliers on CRM & Marketing Automation platforms.
- Experience in system integration projects to create seamless connections between different application/solutions.
- Managing relationships with vendors in an efficient and pro-active manner.
- Strong understanding of key digital solution principles: consumer-centered thinking, consumer journey, and consumer experience.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal. Personable and able to build excellent working relationships.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, including metrics driven thinking and a proven ability to leverage data and insights to drive performance. Having proactive & preventive approach on problem/incident solving.
- Strong understanding of both Waterfall & Agile methodologies.
- Ability to present data/results in consumable formats, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Open-minded, unbiased thinking, able to work in a cross–functional, multinational, diverse and fast paced environment.
- Managing time and ensuring project timelines are satisfied according to WE digital strategy agenda.
- Strong skill set in Office 365 applications.
