British American Tobacco Romania has an exciting opportunity for Marketing Finance Analystin Bucharest.
The primary responsibility of the role is to proactively manage the delivery of Group Management and Statutory Reporting information in line with the agreed service level agreements.
The objective of this role is to enable the COMFOM Marketing Finance to support business objectives by providing quality financial reporting information and analysis support for end markets.
Part of GBS R2R Team, responsible for Marketing Finance Activities for BENELUX Markets, reporting line to GBS CFOM Lead, dotted line to Commercial Finance Manager BENELUX.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage and co-ordinates activities for BENELUX (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg):
- Actuals MI management / Actual vs Budget reporting - Prepares monthly actuals reports/ MI Tracker, with high-level analysis of the variations and engage/collaborate closely with Budget Holders and Marketing Finance team.
- Budgeting MI - Monthly/by request, collates and analyses detailed breakdown of cost and provides input to budget holder for their internal review CY +1 (submit and consolidate the BH’s input templates).
- Reporting MI – Responsible with with MI reporting in BPC, including bi-annually RTM cost split updates.
- Cost accounting and MD for MI - Manage & understand all cost allocations, cost accounting & queries (e.g. adjustments, accruals, provisioning, including E-flow requests)
- IFRS15 - In charge with monthly cycle of IFRS15 process
- Recharges MI –intercompany accounting (eg. BSSA recharges calculation and reporting)
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics and strong understanding of the accounting process and practice in BAT / GBS
- Good Business/ Commercial understanding and curiosity
- Working well independently
- Very good stakeholders’ engagement skills
- Proactivity, initiative-taker, solution oriented
- Good technical skills and solid knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically SAP, or ERP equivalent, BPC/BI.
- Knowledgeable in identifying risks and in implementing controls with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Resilience and quick adaptability to changing environment.
