BAT VIETNAM IS LOOKING FOR SENIOR EXTERNAL AFFAIRS MANAGER
SENIORITY LEVEL: Senior Management level
FUNCTION:Corporate & Regulatory Affairs - External Engagement
SALARY RANGE: Competitive market salary + Bonus scheme + Excellent benefits
LOCATION: Hanoi , Vietnam
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR
- Manage overall country regulatory affairs agenda
- Promote the Corporate’s profile to all level of Governmental stakeholder to maintain good company reputation among investors and preferred partners
- Support Cluster Head of CORA to plan and implement stakeholder reputation management projects such as Long-Term Corp Stakeholder Mapping and Classification
- Examine current public policy and regulatory environments, analyze to identify risks and opportunities which affect the company and assess and prioritize emerging trends in regulations to determine the current and potential medium-term impacts.
- Manage a network of relationships with government authorities, where the company has specific business interest to adhere to the business’ needs and gain authority endorsement on company’s activities
- Support Cluster Head of CORA to deliver regulatory advice and obtain government licenses for Commercial and other Departments in project works where appropriate to ensure the company activities align with Vietnam Law and Corporate’s Global Standards
- Provide primary business intelligence on marketing activities from government sources and secondary intelligence on market and business development of competitors to ensure the company’s activities stay ahead in gaining competitive edge
- Coach & Build Capability within team member. Facilitate knowledge sharing within the wider function
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
- Minimum 10 years’ experience of government relations in a management level
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in working with government agencies.
- Sound understanding of legal system
- Excellent commercial acumen
- Excellent written and spoken English Language
- Ability to perform in cross-functional, global, business environment and balance multiple tasks successfully
