BAT VIETNAM IS LOOKING FOR A TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

FUNCTION:Operations - Production

SALARY RANGE: Competitive market salary + Bonus scheme + Excellent benefits

LOCATION: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This role is a factory base resource at Vina-BAT Join Venture Ltd to provide effective technical supports (Mechanical/Electrical) and assist the manager to ensure the production machinery are in perfect operating condition to timely produce and deliver the desired quantity of top quality standard cigarette products to meet the market demands

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Provide effective technical support and assist the manager to ensure the production machinery is in good condition to achieve the company plan.
• Ensure only good quality cigarette products are produced at all time.
• Ensure the machines’ maintenance and servicing programs are strictly adhered.
• Ensure all machinery performance data and information is updated accurately and regularly
• Achieve production performance targets, with top quality cigarette products timely produced in sufficient desired quantity for market distribution.
• Minimum machine downtime and wastage during operation.
• Manage and control to ensure physical spare part inventory is at optimal level.
• Support Engineering activities (provide effective ancillary services) and R&R activities when necessary.
• IWS implementation: play a role of PM Pillar member and Maintenance Lead at production floor to take part in DDS meeting, implement DMSs under PM Pillar.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Possess a degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Possess general knowledge in production machinery.
• Experience in the Manufacture Operations is an added advantage. 
• Ability to work well and build effective relationship with colleagues & external/counterparts.
• Able to work independently and as a team also willing accept to work under intense pressure or heavy workload.
• Familiar with Microsoft office (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant software application.
• Able to communicate well in English both verbally and writing
