FUNCTION: Supply Chain

LOCATION: LAUSANNE

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

• You will support Supply Planning team on day-to-day business and ensure that BAT strategy is correctly translated in Supply of Potentially Risk Reduced Products and Combustibles in Swiss market
• You will learn and be closely involved in the monthly cycle of demand, supply and inventory management considering the respective KPIs
• You will have an opportunity to participate in development initiatives (SKUs transfer between factories) and optimisation projects (supplier contracts renegotiations)

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Supporting the Supply Planning Team with the weekly activities such as (a) ensuring the most recent forecast is visible in the system for production planning, (b) securing optimal stock coverage in line with the stock holding policies, (c) flagging potentials risks to be actioned on based on demand fluctuations, marketing, pricing or regulatory compliance initiatives
• Working closely with SC Manager to support with project management of sourcing initiatives and defining the scope and action plans recommendation, implementation with regards to contracts with suppliers
• Establishing strong working relationship with Supply team, Demand Forecasting and Commercial departments to ensure seamless supply of Swiss market

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
• Fluent in French and English, German being a strong plus
• Independence and solution-oriented work
• Eager to learn and seeking challenges
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive and highly motivated!
• Good knowledge of MS office tools (esp. Excel)
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
