BAT FIJIIS LOOKING FOR A LEAF ADMIN & LOGISTIC OFFICER

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Leaf Admin & Logistic Officer at BAT Fiji leads a team to ensure efficient inventory management, on-time deliveries, fleet maintenance, and compliance. They also develop strategies for improved performance and promote a culture of safety and teamwork. Their leadership is vital for BAT Fiji's supply chain success.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDES:

  • Ensuring sufficient stock levels of crop inputs and station items in compliance with company standards.
  • Managing packing material stocks and planning for backup stocks.
  • Timely posting of vendor invoices to ensure on-time payments.
  • Overseeing on-site logistics and local warehousing activities for the leaf division.
  • Receiving and storing incoming materials and ensuring availability of crop inputs for production.
  • Maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring compliance with procedures.
  • Implementing global and cluster logistics strategies and supporting supply chain visibility and inventory planning.
  • Holding team members accountable and ensuring compliance with customs and security regulations.
  • Maintaining fleet vehicle upkeep and timely reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management, or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid forklift license is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated deep knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain strategy and objectives.
  • Comprehensive understanding of customs and excise legal matters and contractual principles.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Supplier Management, with outstanding communication and influencing skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities encompassing both strategic vision and effective people management.
  • Proficiency in the English language, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in strategic thinking and decision-making processes.
