PAKISTAN TOBACCO COMPANYIS LOOKING FOR ENGINEERING OFFICER – BILLING

SENIORITY LEVEL: Experienced Professional

FUNCTION: Supply Chain

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

Reports to: ESSM

Reporting Level: 

Geographic Scope: End market/Area/Region

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Business:

• Manage Purchase Order creation, tracking and closure for all spend with external suppliers in a timely manner while ensuring compliance to procurement policy.
• Smooth and timely payments to all suppliers / contractors while ensuring compliance to procedures & policies.
• Manage and enforce control on Work Order process to ensure high service level to internal stakeholders.
• Effectively track all capital expenditure at site
• Administrative management of contractors at site: evaluation, training, maintaining & updating records, enlistment and contract revisions. 
• Management of all records within the department as per company policies
• Management of administrative tasks for Engineering Department
• Ensure a continuous focus on EH&S in respective area of responsibility for closing the gap to zero.
• Directly manage miscellaneous expenses in Engineering

Leadership:

• Lead & inspire the Contractors to willingly perform at their best, ensuring high levels of support to all functions.
• Lead the development of suppliers and onsite contractors through active participation in EH&S and job specific trainings, aiming to achieve ever improving standards of work quality, responsiveness and EH&S standards.
• In view of the rapid expansion of the business, successfully support in management of the financials of engineering projects.

Relationship:

• Build strong relationships with suppliers/contractors & service providing agencies to ensure a smooth & high-quality delivery of services.
• Demonstrate effective relationship management with all internal customers that enables improved service levels and velocity.
• Coordination of networking events within the department

Innovation:

• Bring out clear, innovative and out of box ideas to continuously improve service levels and projects in the department.
• Bringing about improvements in in the area of EH&S Environment, Health and Safety in respective area of responsibility for closing the gap to zero

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Bachelors (Business Administration, Economics or Maths) with at least 2-3 years of experience of sourcing & managing contractors.
• Managing Sourcing and Billing in a reputed organization.  
• Open mindedness and Innovation towards conflict resolution
• Solid facilitation skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision
• Understanding of strategy and policies for efficient working
• Proven ability to persuade, influence and build credibility with senior stakeholders
