BAT CAMBODIA IS LOOKING FOR FINANCE & ACCOUNTING ANALYST

SENIORITY LEVEL: Non-Management Level

FUNCTION:Finance

SALARY RANGE: Competitive market salary + Bonus scheme + Excellent benefits

LOCATION: Phnom Penh, Cambodia

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Finance & Accounting Analyst is responsible to assist in developing and delivering the BAT Cambodia’s strategy through ensuring accurate, timely, and transparent financial reporting to support informed decision-making, compliance with regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

• Maintaining accurate and complete records of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and standards.
• Managing A/R and AP with intercompany as well as external suppliers and customers.
• Managing day-to-day cash flow; and preparing bank reconciliation on a monthly basic.
• Liaise with external auditors by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Working closely with tax and TP consultant for annual statutory audit, timely tax filling, and as business required.
• Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures by updating policies and SOP as required
• Work with cross function to prepare/review relevant month end closing activities and ensure closure timely.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working within Financial Accounting domain
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Working experience in accounting & auditing firms, Big 4 experience is a plus
• Understand the impact of the accounting process and practice (IFRS and group reporting guidelines).
• Good knowledge of Cambodia Taxation law
• Good knowledge of common application software, such as spreadsheet and word processing. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
• Proficient in English and Khmer
• Good inter-personal skills in dealing with internal and external customers/contacts at all level
• Good administrative and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work
