BAT FIJI IS LOOKING FOR KEY ACCOUNT SALES ASSISTANT

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

BAT is seeking to recruit a self-driven and agile individual for the Sales representative role within our Suva Marketing team. The ideal candidate is to demonstrate sound customer relations and communications skills and can deliver critical processes within the group. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and teamwork, communication, and collaboration is key.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDES:
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly merchandising planner to ensure the on time and in full achievement of key deliverables and objectives for the key accounts channel.
- Implement monthly merchandising and compliance monitoring plan as aligned with Key Accounts Manager, and to the expected standard.
- Ensure effectiveness and efficiency in the execution of the merchandising plan, followed by clear and timely reporting back of outcomes, with contingencies identified where required supported by implementation timelines.
- Ensure appropriate BAT footprint is achieved in all outlets through the execution of the set-out plan in line with the sales and marketing objectives.
- Implement product management plan, especially stock checks diligently and ensure timely identification and reporting back of issues.
- Review, monitoring and reporting back of stock management plan according to account and outlet plan.
- Effective communicator with the ability to articulate objectives, capitalize on opportunities and engage outlet staff and management accordingly.
- Always ensure adherence and compliance to company policies and procedures.
- Take accountability for mandated accountabilities and expectations as outlined in role profile, and as designated by Key Accounts Manager and Sales Leadership Team
QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Degree or at least a Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business, or related field and minimum of 3 years’ experience in an FMCG company in brands, sales, and marketing.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office applications and Computer literacy
- Valid Full Class 2 Fiji Drivers licence (Manual) is mandatory.
- Good communicator who is adept at both explaining issues in a clear and concise manner to retailers and internal partners, with the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- Has a strong team attitude high degree of organisational skill, passion for attention to detail
- Strong presentation skills and is proficient in English with strong written and verbal skills.
