BAT Fiji is seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic, and passionate individual for the role of Warehouse Coordinator.
Reports to: Team Leader Logistics
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDES:
- Verify and receive materials against invoices for both quality and quantity, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and that materials are properly organized in the warehouse.
- Report any damaged items and discrepancies promptly.
- Assist the Operations finance team with stock assessments of materials.
- Provide weekly updates to the supervisor regarding the stock on hand report and any potential out-of-stock situations.
- Manage quarantine stock effectively and oversee the destruction process when necessary.
- Ensure continuous compliance with all controls, processes, and procedures relevant to the role.
- Demonstrate innovative approaches to enhance performance in order to meet the business's established objectives.
- Foster a culture that appreciates continuous improvement and encourages constructive challenges across all organizational levels.
- Seek avenues for ongoing enhancement of the WMS stock levels and the processes related to housekeeping and materials delivery, ensuring the elimination of unnecessary tasks and the constant availability of materials.
- Ensure efficient management of the warehouse management system (WMS) to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory while maintaining high standards of organization and cleanliness.
- Engage in a collaborative, cross-functional team focused on enhancing business integration and performance outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ESSENTIAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Minimum Certificate II trade qualification or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years of experience in Warehousing/stock management
- Computer literacy in Excel, PowerPoint and Word Processing.
- Acquire training and license to drive a forklift.
- Good time management and able to deliver results under stress
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with all stakeholders
- You must be fluent in written and verbal communications in English and Samoan
