JOB TITLE:   Paid Media Executive
REPORTS TO:  Paid Media Manager
LOCATION:    Tokyo, Japan

ROLE SUMMARY
The Paid Media Executive (Media planning and optimization) is responsible for developing and planning the paid media plan and its performance monitoring/optimization. This role develops the media plan aligned to business & campaign objectives, as well as allocating budget to ensure optimized spend.
This role is required to have a strong understanding of overall business objectives and activation plans across all touchpoints, to ensure paid media is fully aligned, and integrated. Exploration of new media touch points is also expected as part of this role to achieve effective media targeting and performance, to best fit our target audience.
This role also involves regular monitoring of media performance to ensure ongoing optimization, including project planning, and campaign adjustment.  

ACCOUNTABILITIES
•    Synchronization and alignment cross-functionally to ensure the media plan matches campaign strategy and investment.
•    Responsible for regular monitoring of media performance, and update to wider team to ensure visibility.
•    Ensure smooth project management, and forward-looking process management to have enough time to adapt learning as ongoing optimization.
•    Exploration of new media touch points for better media targeting and its performance to best fit our target audience.
•    Responsible for related internal process and administration such as contract, PO, and its financial management.
•    Develop media ad creatives aligned to overall brand messaging, visual expression, and media plan. Optimize creative expression as well as CTA to achieve better performance.
•    Ensure all executions are fully compliant and approved by legal before its delivery, and ensure media censorship and OTIF delivery of finalized resized assets to publisher.
•    Develop and plan SEO strategy and tactics. Monitor performance to ensure always-on improvement.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
- 2+ years of experience in paid media planning and its optimization – both online media as well as offline media.
- Excellent project management and interpersonal skills in agile manner.
- Sufficient business level of language skills (both English and Japanese) to ensure quality of  internal/external communication.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Desirable:
- Experience in consumer goods or regulated industries.
- Experience in managing large-scale media ads investment under regulated marketing industry.
