JOB TITLE: Reporting Services Manager IDT Recharges
FUNCTION: Commercial Finance
CITY & COUNTRY: KL, Malaysia
Manages the GSD Group Recharges and ensures accurate financial reporting in line with Group requirements.
Reviews and validates financial data to deliver timely insights for decision‑making and supports strong internal controls across the finance function.
This role ensures accurate recharge governance, strengthens financial compliance, and supports high‑quality reporting and decision‑making across global markets.
Reports to - Senior Corporate Finance Manager
Core Relationships - Head of Commercial IT, IDT FBPs, IDT RFBPs, GSD P&R Team, GSD Customers Finance Managers, Internal & External Auditors, CP&A, DBS Business Stakeholders
Geographic Scope - Global
- Manage end‑to‑end GSD recharge processes for QPRs and Company Plan, including recharge calculations (standard cost by service line), allocation key updates, reconciliations, and BPC inputs for overheads, P&L, and Balance Sheet.
- Act as the primary contact for GSD customers, communicating recharge details, changes, and providing detailed analysis on actuals vs plans, including explaining drivers of variations and performing annual true‑ups as required.
- Ensure strong financial governance, including contract compliance for all GSD recharges through proactive engagement with Legal, providing support for statutory and group reporting, and supplying information for transfer pricing files.
- Provide audit‑ready documentation and insights, supporting KPMG and internal stakeholders with explanations, commentary, and ad‑hoc financial analysis for the Head of Finance.
- Lead and develop direct reports, serving as a role model to enhance team capabilities, build skills, and support growth toward more advanced responsibilities.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
- Strong financial expertise, with hands‑on experience managing P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and applying finance knowledge in business projects and change initiatives.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP, financial systems, and Excel, with strong analytical, reporting, and critical‑thinking capabilities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to support and challenge senior management effectively.
- Proven ability to create and maintain a strong control environment, apply commercial thinking, work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and handle ambiguity.
- Professional finance qualification or relevant degree (e.g., ACCA), fluency in English, and minimum 5 years of FP&A/reporting experience in a multinational environment.
