BAT KOREA IS LOOKING FOR A QUALITY EXECUTIVE
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
The Quality Executive is responsible for managing the quality-related aspect of Vapour products and HP device complaints. This role focuses on continuously improving product and service quality by conducting through reviews, driving awareness and collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance consumer satisfaction.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
i. Quality Management & Compliance
- Maintain the quality system, including the defect catalogue and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy of all relevant tests and data (eg. logistics trial)
- Conduct consumer complaint analysis, generate reports on the End Market (South Korea) for Global QA teams for reporting purpose in a regular basis
- Drive category quality improvement in collaboration with internal (global/region teams) and external partners
- Lead quality incident management, including documentation and resolution.
- Ensure compliance with ESG-related actions, such as recycling scheme and waste management system
- Establish annual and monthly target in alignment with global & QA group manager
- Enhance product and quality knowledge in alignment with BAT global standards and policies
- Plan and oversee the quality stability of newly developed products
ii. Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both BAT internal functions, including Supply Chain, NPI, Trade, Factory, KA team, Marketing, global QA, global R&D and external parties such as CIC, Logistics partners and Device suppliers
- Act as a key liaison to ensure proactive communication and alignment with various internal BAT and external teams to drive quality management and enhancements
- Collaborate with the Consumer Care team to effectively improve complaint resolution and optimize operations
- Develop and implement quality standards and conduct training for relevant departments
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 3 - 4 years of working experience, preferably in quality management, manufacturing or a similar industry
- Basic knowledge of product design and an understanding the operation and working principles of devices (Vapour products, HP consumables)
- Understanding of the product distribution process in the market
- Basic analytic skills with the ability to troubleshoot consumer issues and provide guidance through trouble shooting guides or FAQ review
- Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with Global QA and external BAT partners
- Knowledge in using Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint)
