The Office Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation of our office and provide essential support to our colleagues. You will work closely with the Finnish team, but also the Nordics HR team based in Copenhagen and Malmo to ensure local people management processes are in place. The ideal candidate will have strong organisation, administrative and communication skills, a keen attention to detail.

The BAT Finland office is located in central Helsinki where our Country Manager, Trade Deployment team, Key Accounts team, Finance and Legal colleagues are situated.
- Coordinate daily office activities, organize and maintain office common areas, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
- Plan and execute practical events such as meetings, workshops, and company gatherings.
- Provide support in the implementation and enforcement of company policies and procedures.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with onboarding new employees to the business.
- Support various departments with administrative tasks as needed.
- Comply and implement activities in accordance with the rules of laws and regulations relating to environmental protection, safety at work and fire protection, and internal EHS or Sustainability standards and procedures.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
- Experience as an Office Administrator, HR Assistant, or relevant role.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
BENEFICIAL
- Digital capabilities or experience with data and analytics may be an advantage
- Familiarity with local employment laws and people practices may be an advantage
- Fluency in Finnish and English
