British American Tobacco Türkiye has an exciting opportunity for a Demand Planning Executive in Istanbul.
BAT Turkey is a Cluster office including Bulgaria, Turkey, and Northern Cyprus end markets, being very dynamic and full of new growth opportunities both in traditional and new categories. Support the business planning process via accurate sales information analysis and demand forecasting process to ensure company plan objectives are achieved. Enable company to consistently meet consumer demand objectives, leading into company brand, volume and profit achievements. Effective implementation and management of monthly processes. Timely tracking of company’s performance indicators. Achievement of completion and accuracy of information available in knowledge system as measured by other areas.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Build and improve the necessary tools/models to support demand forecasting for monthly demand planning, annual demand planning and ad-hoc requests including Region / Area reporting
- Provide accurate and timely volume performance analysis to facilitate demand forecasting.
- Ensure effective tracking of key performance indicators as well as appropriate evaluation to measure effectiveness of programs and activities and as forward input into future planning.
- Establish close working relationships with Area Demand Planning Team and Insights, Brand, TM&D, Ops and Finance teams in order to ensure that monthly process is complying and marketing strategy information is properly cascaded for both operational and annual planning.
- Follow up on forecasting with Supply Chain Team to ensure proper stock management and highlight issues that trigger corrective action
What are we looking for?

- University graduate in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or similar
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional work experience and travel flexibility.
- Proficiency in English (Turkish is a must). Good knowledge in Excel Spreadsheet and Power point software.
