ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
To support the Health & Wellbeing team with the administration of benefit plans. This includes leave administration, vendor management, resolving escalated member issues, data analysis and support with compliance and regulatory responses to internal and external stakeholders.
What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?
To support the Health & Wellbeing team in administration of plans and in education/communications of benefit programs.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Main point of contact to investigate escalated employee and retiree inquiries and issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Liaison with vendors to investigate escalated inquiries.
- Work with vendors to improve service levels.
- Compliance, regulatory and audit support
- Provide analytical support to ensure compliance requirements for all benefit programs are met, including federal, state and local requirements, and internal company needs.
- Leave administration
- Responsible for leave administration process, including vendor management.
- Work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to administer leave processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local programs.
- Support in reviewing and approving financial and performance data from benefits providers.
- Perform data research to support participant inquiries and audit requests.
- Support cyclical activities such as bi-weekly and monthly files, reviewing and approving vendor invoices, reviewing employee files for issues and other activities that require Excel skills such as lookups and advanced formulas.
- Support data gathering to determine pricing for annual health plans and other projects/requests.
- Support in the development and delivery of internal communications
- This includes employee engagements, communications, education, and Open Enrollment presentations (online and in-person) to employees throughout the year.
- Assist in maintaining internal SharePoint site with clear information about benefits, using multiple delivery channels.
- Assist in the development of internal communications to employees and HR.
- Ensure Global Business Solutions (GBS) processes and performance is supporting objectives and ensuring documentation (TLDs) are fit for purpose and reviewed periodically.
- Liaison with internal IT team and external vendors on interface and data issues.
- Support team in ongoing process improvements and process documentation updates.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
- 5+ years in business environment.
- 3+ years in benefit programs; experience in health plans and leave administration preferred but not required.
- Vendor management experience.
- Experience in administrative, analytical or project management role demonstrating organizational skills.
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Adaptable to changing business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to execute and respond quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high level, responsive customer service in a business environment.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies.
- Proficient in the use of office technologies (MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), with high-level of proficiency in Excel.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, communications, finance or related field.
BENEFICIAL
- Experience in leave administration, vendor management, benefits and insurance programs and administration.
- Advanced skill with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and formulas.
- Experience with SuccessFactors, Workday or other HR information systems (HRIS).
- Experience or demonstrated technical aptitude to understand flow of data to/from HRIS and payroll systems to vendors and resolve technical issues.
