BAT DIGITAL BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS LOOKING FOR AN NPI EXECUTIVE
This incumbent is responsible to support the system readiness and operational delivery within the New Product Introduction (NPI) function operated by BAT.
SENIORITY LEVEL: Non-Management

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
Reports To: Senior Deployment Manager
Reporting Level: Individual Contributor
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
Operational (System Readiness):
- Engagement with internal & external stakeholders to enable smooth code creation up to completion process and continue to improve SKU CoE reports and trackers for them
- Participation in project meetings (e.g., Kick-Off Meeting, Adhoc Meeting)
- Support external and internal functions with NPI Managers set up requests
- Provide support to and collaborate with functional expert teams on explicit requests
- Supervise the code creation progress till completion to ensure no impact on the business
- Provide the visibility of system readiness status timely manner to NPI Managers to OTIF (On Time In Full) delivery
- Support SAP-related activities outside of standard SKU Centre of Excellence work if any
- Support the testing of SAP business releases with regards to Process or Data Changes
- Evaluate and provide feedback through impact assessments of intended changes
- Raise IT Tickets as system issues arise
- Maintain knowledge base and give training on system activities and changes
- Identify possible system or business process improvements
- Contribute to NPI continuous improvement from system readiness perspectives
- Support operational delivery and project management of the end-to-end process within the NPI function
Project Management:
- Handling a few simple projects (e.g., Cap 0-1 Project Rating) and ensuring that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting targets and expectations, and adhering to established operating parameters; negotiates changes in project resources as necessary to achieve objectives and timelines
- Handling project risks and ensuring adequate risk mitigation is in place
- Prepares and monitors teams and project costs to serve, to handle spending within budgets
- Work together with teams responsible for NPI, Quality, Brand Marketing, Engineering, Factory to meet objectives and ensure delivery of projects
- Develop a full project plan with input from functional experts. Supervise and handle the project schedule as per the project plan
- Provide the Product Development Team with visibility of project status
- Effective and timely signposts of decisions required to drive OTIF
- Establish, lead and empower cross-functional teams to optimally deliver projects and drive and support collaboration within and across teams, functions and end-markets
- Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with Commercial business partners and the NPI Community including Product Development, Product Assurance, SCIP, Quality, Factory & Regional NPI
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) / Data Specialist/ Project Management (NPI) /Brands/ Marketing/ Art & Design
- Proficient in English (verbal and written), SAP system and MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Powerbi)
- Well-adapted in paperwork and records management to run healthy, auditable projects
- Ability to build and maintain productive, positive stakeholders relationships through effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative thinking, fast learner, good time management
- Ability to make things happen (pro-active, dynamic, flexible, pragmatic)
- Commercial approach to all activities
- Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent analytical skills, details oriented and good business sense
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly even under high workload situations
